Next: FIFA Statement Indicates Possible Split From EAĮFootball 2022 is currently available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PC, Android, and iOS. Hopefully, the studio doesn't delay the update’s rollout any further and that it announces more details on it sooner rather than later.
#POKEMON SAGE NEXT UPDATE PATCH#
With the delay being announced less than a week before its originally intended release date, there may be a lot more work that Konami needs to do to come out with a patch that’s substantial enough to make a dent in the game’s long list of issues. The change from a solid release date to a general release window for eFootball 2022’s supposedly game fixing patch has to be concerning for the game’s fans and players. Those issues include problems with game balance, the ball’s pass speed, defense operation, cutscenes, player facial expressions and movement, as well as the behavior of the ball, although the game certainly has a lot more problems than what the studio mentioned. While the developer has yet to detail which of the game’s issues it plans to resolve with the now-delayed patch, it did acknowledge at least some of those problems in the apology Konami released soon after eFootball launched. Apart from apologizing for the delay and the inconvenience it will inevitably cause players, the post also mentions that the extra time will allow the developers to “ ensure the experience is improved for all of our users.” As for the new release date and what exactly the new patch is meant to fix, those will apparently be announced at a later date. The official eFootball Twitter account announced the patch’s delay, which is now slated to roll out sometime in early November. From terrible character models and technical issues to limited gameplay and content, players found a lot to be disappointed about with the new game.

The company originally announced earlier this month that the game’s version 0.9.1 update would be released next week on October 28, 2021, and is meant to fix issues that the game’s players have been complaining about, along with some that the developer has seen. So anything we can get to disrupt that and make the roster more balanced is alright by me. Broadly, the roster favors the first generation, with 10 total originating from Pokemon Red and Blue. Decidueye will bring some much-needed Generation VII rep to the game, as Zeraora and Alolan Ninetales are the only other characters who debuted in Pokemon Sun and Moon as of this writing. Some of the post-launch characters have included Gardevoir, Blissey, and Greedent. The game launched with 20 pokemon in its roster, but has been steadily rolling out new ones since the game launched on Switch back in July. Decidueye is the fully-evolved form of Rowlet, the grass starter in Pokemon Sun and Moon. It’s also the latest starter pokemon to be added to Pokemon Unite, alongside all three Generation I starters, Greninja, and Cinderace. The caption reads “n ock nock! Who is that flying true like an arrow in the #PokemonUNITE arena?” Decidueye is a grass/ghost type pokemon that uses its wings like a bow and arrow, which implies it will be a ranged attacker when it eventually comes to the MOBA. The tease included a post on the game’s social channels, which showed arrows being fired in the game’s arena.
It looks like Pokemon Unite’s next roster addition is imminent, as Decidueye is being teased after the character leaked last month.
